With regards to the TO configuration test, it’s good practice to have this during taxi like you say and/or the before taxi checklist, pending on airline operating procedures. It was just a handy print format really, and working that checklist it doesn’t give me any surprises. I use a Quality WIngs Avro RJ checklist that I found online (don’t tell the developers!). Well it sounds like you’re doing it right. I absolutely love this aircraft… I was so excited (10 months ago) for the 737 but this is absolute so much fun… Especially since I’ve learnt VOR flying etc

MAKE HANDYPRINT BOOT ON STARTUP FULL
Thanks heaps for the above take off tips, I think I have almost mastered the take off (very full on like they said in the video!!!) But those little tips help as well!!! Oh!!! I’ve been using IAS for decent… I find it quite easy work load wise by using the air brake to increase/decrease the rate of decent… Is that in any way, legit procedures IRL? Or is it strictly using the VS I start rolling and that’s when I press the TO config button and every time I get the warning, so I trim down to 10 and it seems to work… so maybe I am meant to be parked? Then I press that little box CG SMC and it sets my trim to something like 14/16, Then when the pumps are on I select the flaps etc I turn the TO TMS back on after engine start So basically I do all the weight planning etc between power on and before the start up procedures. OOO Am I supposed to be parked up when I press that button or rolling I always press it as I’m rolling down the taxiway,
